Threat

We guard against cybercrime but what about the threat from the Tech Giants?  They extract our data by stealth – not “to improve your experience on the device” but to create new sales routes for themselves.  Meanwhile, we are harmed by “influence”, manipulation and fake news.  Today’s model of consent is far too loose.  Permitted uses should be only those which give immediate value to the person from whom the data was taken.  Fair cop
