Hot day? We quench our thirst with fizzy, sweet, flavoured soft drinks.  2017 UK sales up 1.4% in a year to >£15.2bn ($18.4bn, €16.6bn).  Which country drank the most?  Argentina, at 155 litres per capita.  USA was close 2nd (154l), then Chile (141l), Mexico (137l), Uruguay (113l) & Belgium (109l).  Children are the biggest consumers of soft drinks.  “Soft” = no alcohol
