Traffic gridlock in Europe & USA will hit £238bn ($293bn, €267bn) a year by 2030, up 50% from 2013.  Costs are direct (fuel, time lost from work) & indirect (higher freight & business fees to cover idle time stuck in traffic).  UK will see the biggest increase – up 61% to £27bn ($33bn, €30bn).  Then USA (50%), France (31%), Germany (31%).  Carmageddon will impact city & national economies, businesses & households
